Passion Project 3.5 - Project Update After Break

I didn't work on my passion project during spring break and I still have a few questions I need answered. I plan to email a few smart glass companies in hopes of obtaining a small sample square of their glass to use in testing. One of the greatest struggles I'm having is deciding which type of glass to use, electrochromic or PLDC. I'm not sure which would be more effective in dampening laser light, however, I'm planning on trying electrochromic first as PLDC produces a more opaque glass rather than darkened glass. Furthermore following up on Mr Crompton's concerns on implementation I plan on emailing aerospace companies (hoping for a reply) on whether they've considered addressing laser strikes.
